Students’ academic, social, and emotional progress can be deeply affected by trauma or exposure to traumatic events. For School-Related Professionals (SRPs), working with a high number of students who have experienced trauma can also lead to vicarious trauma, or compassion fatigue. This seminar provides SRPs with a deeper understanding of how trauma impacts students and equips them with strategies to support students, promote healing, and contribute to school-wide success.
