This 2-hour New Member seminar introduces participants to academic scaffolding, language proficiency levels, and how to scaffold instruction for ELLs/MLLs. Participants will explore different forms of scaffolding and plan how to use them with students while considering ways to reduce linguistic demands and incorporate formative assessments that inform planning and support the scaffolding process.
