This interactive three-hour seminar explores strategies for strengthening home -school partnerships that support the academic success of Multilingual Learners (MLs). Informedby Karen Mapp’s research on family–school partnerships and the New York State EducationDepartment’s Blueprint for English Language Learner/Multilingual Learner Success, the session examines culturally responsive communication, welcoming school environments, 
and practical ways to engage families as partners in student learning. Through discussion and interactive activities, participants will practice strategies that strengthen trust, collaboration, and meaningful family engagement.
