Closing the opportunity gap among all students requires addressing all factors that influence achievement and behavior — including classroom learning, school climate, and motivation theory. In this seminar, participants will learn that a positive educational environment is a major ingredient of effective schools. They will explore research-based techniques that empower “at risk” students, decrease problem behavior, and improve overall student achievement. When the environment is engaging, the likelihood of success increases significantly.
